OP if you actually wanted a serious thread, you should've just called the thread Hololite and said it was about indies and small corpo chuubas hololive fans could branch out into.
Adding Twisty or Vivi into the OP just makes it a bait thread, though.

At this point I'm pretty sure I'm the idiot for thinking this thread was made in good faith, either way. After all, half of the OP is dedicated to NijiEN and Mint isn't even on it, but Vedal is.

I’m not sure about Mint, I think she collabs with dudes. Anyway, the reason I made the thread was because I learned about platonic concepts yesterday, and was thinking about how they apply to stuff like Vtubers. Like how there’s a lot of girls in NijiEN or Vshojo or wherever that WOULD be perfect fits for Hololive, but just aren’t, for whatever reason. Just wanted to philosophize, that’s all. I’m not trolling, I swear.

Yeah, a tip, next time you try a thread like this, just use "Hololite" as the term instead and avoid bringing up Nijisanji if you want any good faith discussion. Nearly any other corpo is fair game, but Niji's a bit of a charged topic right now and anything with them being mentioned will just get drowned out by shitflinging and (you) bait.
Nijisanji-adjacent is basically one of the biggest real slurs here and a great way to get people to start fighting and ignoring whatever you wanted people to actually talk about.

I don't see Mint having a problem with dude-collabing, but thenagain I expected Shiori to start breaking that barrier down just like anyone else who knew about her PL, so who knows. She's bi, but she heavily, heavily, heavily seems to prefer girls overall in general so I don't see males becoming a common thing for her unless they're funny or part of some group she's in.
This is in opposition to someone like Doki or Sayu who seem to prefer male friends in general due to either bad experiences with female friends in the past or just preferring how direct male relationships tend to be.

Don't get your hopes up. New waves have a ban on outer-wave collabs for the first couple of weeks so they can build their own fanbases. She's bound to join some big Crab Game/etc collab at some point, especially once Luxiem returns from Japan and they start harassing the new livers like they always do.
