The conundrum is basically this: If it was someone she knew was there or was familiar with, why lie and say it was an intruder when she could easily say it was a friend or something? Personally I'm tired of her just declining more and more and basically turning to stirring up drama at every chance to try to reclaim a shred of attention, and really it feels like just pity milking her remaining gachikoi, instead of working herself back into the spotlight legitimately, by being a charming hardworking streamer like quite a few Holos have grinded out.

Her reaction makes sense if she thought chat was just fucking with her. And her reaction shows that she really didn't think anyone should have been able to open her door because:
1) No one should have been in the house.
2) No one has ever intruded into her house.
So it's pretty reasonable to react like, "Come on, there's no way someone actually opened the door." If anything, her delayed reaction as she goes to check on things and slowly realize that someone really did get into her house without her knowing probably made her so shocked she didn't know what to do. I've once had my house robbed and my first reaction was to slowly check my whole house to make sure no one else stayed behind. It was only until a few hours later when the reality set in and I started to have a silent mental breakdown as I realized how much was stolen and how my house no longer felt safe. I'm pretty sure matsuri was scared shitless when she rewatched the now privated VOD. And those tweets will continue to remind her that some complete random was able to creep into her house. What if she wasn't streaming? Could she have actually been raped, kidnapped, or even killed that day? What did the intruder take or leave behind? Are there now hidden camera's installed? These questions wouldn't have been the first thing she thought about but now she will start thinking about it. Knowing how much of a menhera she is, she may even stop streaming for a week or two. Maybe even a month.

This is important. She outright said she doesn't really believe chat and will have to change the VOD later, the only thing she immediately checked was the door actually having not been locked, and said as much. She later had a small professional meltdown on twitter doing the usual "I am safe and fine, can't sleep, safety first" announcement tweets to calm down fans a little, which makes me believe that's after seing the VOD and that hand. Her reaction on stream show us that she's kinda naive, and being online with her face as well as virtual and THEN not locking the door, HAVING to lock the door because you live in a low-rent shitbox instead of a mansion with proper security (which are aplenty in Tokyo, the ones where you enter codes and have staff there 24/7) prove us that much. So going with the assumption that it's a bf, which makes most sense, it's happening on activities outside of her "idol job" for lack of a better term. It's unrelated, so does she really need to hide it? Or are her other activities also something where a bf would be considered scandalous? Then again, thinking about twitch thot culture, it probably is. Also her fanbase stays the same, so someone will "leak" it either way so I get the reaction. Her panicked excuse just wasn't believable at all so she fucked up lol

That's not all though. She keeps frequently menheraposting elsewhere about her longtime friends getting kids and whatnot, about not having a bf and the like. Just hearing voices isn't enough to spook them since there's the chance that it might be just the TV/radio, that's why the intruder goes to check quietly. If they're lucky it's just that and the person might actually be asleep in the room so they don't have to worry about getting caught as long as they stay quiet. There's videos and stories of this exact kind of thing happening in the exact same way on the internets. I'm not against rrats but the most likely scenario really is a stranger/intruder that was either lost or looking for loot and instead found some girl streaming/recording.
