That would be my best guess. Nijisanji is an acceptable target right now, and the internet loves nothing more than an acceptable target. As well, there has been a concerning push from payment processors recently to try and down the hosts of any perceived adult content which down conform to certain standards. You see it in the changes to Pixiv, Gumroad banning adult content, and -- this one baffles me -- fucking Nico Nico Douga being cut off from Amex/Mastercard payments, of all things. It's genuinely scary these days, and people I know who make adult content (and not just porn, but work with dark themes) are running out of places to go. Even the places which permit adult content have long lists of content they won't allow... it's getting worse. We are fully in the Neo-Puritanism era.

nah, this tako at least will bee just fine. i keep busy. whenever anyone adjacent to niji makes a post i trawl the comments and reblogs to report any harassment that comes up (might do a cursory scroll of the perpetrator's account, too, in case there's anything else that might need flagged.) when it's first posted, then another sweep a day later, and again if it gets traction for some reason. doesn't take me long, and it's a direct action i can take to cut down on the amount of BS people have to see. youtube comments, too. it keeps me sane.
