Grace supported /asp/ies in the thread with mostly anonymous positivity, and self-posted only a few times when she made some OC for the thread (violin music she composed as fan music for Slushy, for example), and was then encouraged to stream.
Alpin did some good-ass networking before his debut by being a good chatter and by making some off-stream engagement content for the streamers he supported. You can look back at his Twitter media before debut to see that.
I remember Basil mostly fumbling around but then capturing our hearts in his first scuffed stream.
Yumi self-posted here a bunch with vocaroos and skebs.

A thousand over vtubers are fighting for a 4-5 spots. Some with better voice, some with better numbers, some with better personalities than you.

If you dont get views, think of why they aren't viewing your audition tape. If they view it for 5 second. Listen to that 5 second and think WHY they stop at 5? Did you say 'hi' weirdly? Did the music turn them off? Was the sentence you said is off? THINK, then make a new one, rinse and repeat.

Secondly: Networking with aspirations, I will give you the card of doubt and say that, somehow, I have never seen you in any of the /here/chuuba chats in the last two months just because our schedules never match (?), but it can always be a possibility for you to do better, as well as help others do also better because both sides grow, by networking and boosting eachother. If this, even more, you can translate into collabs, you have gained yet another stable way to ensure more viewership flow, if the numberworms are consuming you too highly, try something like aiming to collab with higher #s; but really, this is about collabing more because you Enjoy it, not because you want /#/s.
Thirdly: the VOD channel, 2 weeks since last upload, no clips, no shorts, no nothing. There is lost potential by not paying attention to that.
