It's a widespread issue. Most chuubas don't talk about it because "respect muh artists", but people fuck off, miss deadlines, some straight up ghost clients. It's one of the struggles of being an indie. And if you do the math there are very few high profile artists willing to work in the vtuber industry and only a fraction of them will touch indies.
Usually a company should help with this by holding the artists feet to the fire and having a list of trusted creators, but we're talking about Nijisanji here.
