It has been a dark year for the kingdom of Nijisanji. After months of trial, the king had ordered the execution of the Laughing Dragon on charges of treason, but no sooner did the ax hit her absurdly long neck than did she suddenly reincarnate as a pheonix. Just like that, long-simmering discontent ignited into a full scale rebellion. The pheonix, calling herself Dokibird, flew back to her ancestral lands with her followers and declared war on her former master. Peasants, merchants, even adventurers from other lands flocked to her banner as they marched on the kingdom's capital of Yaught. King Tazumi rallied his best generals to crush the rebellion, including Dokibird's own sister, Elira the Sun-Dragon, but the combined loyalist army suffered a crushing defeat at the Battle of Blackstream Crossing, and Elira fled the field and went into hiding. The enraged Dragoons now had access to the kingdom's heartland and ruthlessly pillaged the lands of the Sun Dragon and her closest associates. The rebel army's march on Yought ultimately faltered after the Loyalists' successful defense during the Siege of Kindred Keep, but by this point, the war's outcome was already sealed. The Tomato Pheonix had more clout, power, and acclaim abroad than ever before, while the reputation and heartland of the Nijisanji Kingdom lay in smoldering ruins.

And so, the already stagnating Kingdom of Nijisanji entered a steep decline. No longer could it compete with the Hololive Empire, and even smaller rivals like the Vshojo Federation began to grow at its expense. As for the newborn Dokibird Dominion, its victory marked the beginning of its rise as a major new regional power.

Given the changes in fanbase allocation/relationships/etc, following the events of >>76918232 (Me) I would like to propose the revised changes to >>76916296's map.

Rationale:

There is no denying it. NijiEn lost heavy amounts of clout in the war.

I put /haha on the southeastern coast, due to Dokibird's tendency to obtain sponsorsh er I mean trade connections with far flung entities like Sajam and Apex, while simultaneously partially denying those opportunities now to Nijisanji.

/Mint/ Occupies a smaller and more insular location, a reflection of her subcount's relatively slower growth. Still, she is an prominent Indie who like Doki occupies land that formerly belonged to /nijien. The distance between /mint/ and /haha/ made it hard for them to collab until recently.

Following the war, r/nijien/ had to cede much of its remaining southern coast to vshojo, specifically to duchess Matara, the mother roach. The consolidation of her rule has enabled greater communication between the realms of /haha/ and /mint/, although ironically Matara herself only became diplomatically involved with /haha/ after /mint/ initiated. The rationale here is that Vshojo has also been one of the main beneficiaries of Nijisanji's losses.

We should of course save space for the Hololive Empire. Even if they keep to themselves, they should probably control a large chunk of land.

The zomrade-nun is a peach-skinned bronze-haired angel. You wouldn't know she died due to the lack of blemishes and rot on her skin. Beneath her collar and sleeved there are scars around her amputations. At death the nun was decapitated. She's also got clean cuts below the shoulder and just above the thigh. These cuts have left zomrade nun with some difficulties getting around. While zomrades can re-attatch severed body parts they don't completely attatch. Zomrade-nun can still feel her detatched body parts when they break off her body.

Zomrade-nun is a natural klitz. She's always doing silly things like putting her head on backwards and tripping on her fallen leg. The nunnery is quite used to Zomrade-nun's klutzasters. Where one day Zomrade-nun lost her head in a hay wagon that drove to the next town. The owner almost burned it down because he thought the wagon was posessed but it was Zomrade-nun's head crying and praying someone would find her.

the goal of this project is to present the threads of this board as nations, not companies themselves. while nijisanji certainly is a big player within the vtuber world, on /vt/ itself the thread actually has very little presence, thats where my concerns rise from
there would also be the question of if you actually intend to write for all these nations that you are now placing on the map or if they are solely for this one storyarc.
for example you are placing /nenmen/ on the map but your hook so far doesn't even mention that thread so i wonder if there is even a need for you to place them if you have no intention to flesh out the nation

the last time we got a nijirep that came in with a warstory and then kinda became the shepherd for all the nijithreads it was... problematic so sorry if i feel a bit cautious right now

technicly there is nothing stop both of these proposals to be "canon" as well as like 10 others versions of the nijinations or in fact a world made out of entirely nijinations only
that is what the floating canon thing is for. however that doesn't mean the project doesn't have a goal to at least try and work together and just for me personally i just wanted to know what the rationale is behind the nations being like that. even more so since in my eyes if one of the two mainland nations should be huge, it should be /nijiEN/ not /2434/

I didn’t end up making a map because of waning interest and also I feel my old method of giving dedicated cities to each girl won’t work in the long run due to the expanding pantheon at the time. The only two cities mentioned by name in the lore are Tuihövyn (>>76987730) and the White City (an underground city at one of the lighter blue area). I tried making a river map but it’s pretty bad so I was waiting for another anon to do that instead
The Tuih river forms the northern border though someone said I should extend /vnug/ a bit further north of the river to control it. I only have ideas for settlements based on the perspectives of 18th-20th century USA. The general rule of thumb is settlements are made where resources are abundant. The second best locations are among busy roads or waterways where trading is common. Checkpoints and caches are very common to make when traveling on long roads. Its better to re-use pre-cleared campsites than to clear out new camps. Though creating storage caches are tricky because you have to hide them from both wild life and other "adventurers". Also once we hit 20th century the frontiers closed. So wandering on private property meant being shot.

It’s a bit unusual since /vnug/’s basically sitting on a slope with the west being lowland and the east being highland. I marked some parts of the terrain that should stand out as individual mountains compared to the surroundings! As for swamps, I imagine the coasts are basically all swamps and mangrove forests outside of the cliffs forming the pillar islands of Sematol
I don’t think there are deserts in /vnug/ since it’s a pretty wet place. The main change in biome would be the lowland tropical forest turning into highland rocky grassland (and eventually snowy hilltops). The purple line’s probably where the transition happens
I don’t know what your plan for the campaign would be but I think exploring more of the underground caves would be fun!

I already wrote the lore for the woodland saps, and the new Seisis now that we got islands for /uuu/ in the new world.

My location name strats:

You'd be surprised. Ashford is a town where there was a ford next to ash trees. Axbridge is a town where there was a bridge over the Axe river. Birchwood is a town where there was... birch trees. I think /awat/ would have a rather interesting cultural relationship to gluten.

Something like: they once had regular bakeries like other countries, but once it was revealed that their goddess couldn't stomach such things, /awat/ outright banned all food products containing gluten.
