Devils advocate, this was probably in the works either before or during the SEREN SHOKKU. 4300 is still an insane number since that's like 5x what Sanbaka, the 2nd most popular female group in Niji next to JKgumi, has for their first live venue. I'm pretty sure a single Lize stream would get more viewers than the entirety of EN does in a day right now, and even a year ago I'd say the entirety of EN's viewership couldn't compete with a Sanbaka stream. Even if we assume this was planned 6 months in advance it's baffling.

More or less this. The event was booked months ago, and it's far too late for AX to unilaterally cancel the show without cause, without having to pay Niji a massive severance fee.

On the other hand, AX hasn't formally announced Doki's presence at the expo yet (Doki herself announced that she would be at AX, but hasn't announced any further details, and anyone who didn't watch the charity stream or hasn't watched clips of it wouldn't "officially" know about her announcement). Once AX announces that Doki will be there, the Niji EN talents will no longer be able to pretend to be unaware of this fact; and the Niji show will very likely be cancelled shortly after the Doki announcement, either because Niji themselves cancel their event just to make sure their talents are not even in the same city as her, or because Niji does something incredibly stupid and petty in response to the Doki announcement which gives AX cause to cancel their show.
