I don't know if THAT happened, but Axel mentioned (I think in his last 2023 Japan stream before he returned home, or a stream around then) that he tried to tell the menhera quitter not to come to Japan during the time he was planning on. I'm pretty sure it goes both ways. Dez was a massive clout chaser and really wanted to be seen as a part of Hololive. Vesper just got dragged along and probably enjoyed making people mad.
If you look at the other two, Altare hates women who aren't Kobo and Axel just wants to watch basketball or some shit. They have no interest in collabs and the mentality probably just passed on to future gens. I'd be surprised if either side knows the other exists at this point
