Depends on the type of action you’re after.
If you’re looking for grounded, gritty fights that don’t sugarcoat anything, Heartbreak Tokyo’s a good read. Quite brutal, but it’s the closest in the archive to how you’d imagine real fights go.
If you’re thinking less about CQC and more guns and tactical /k/ shit, then I recall Girl Boss Watson and Her Paramilitary Death Squad having a few good scenes.
If you want something flashier that’s still theoretically possible and grounded in reality, but takes a few liberties for the sake of pulling off some bullshit, then Holocalypse can serve as some insipiration (at least, it could have. There’s only one chapter up at the moment).
And if you’re after some of the swords and magic stuff, Holofantasy would be my first recommendation, along with what >>76591296 has recommended. I believe Holojourneys has this kind of action as well, but I unfortunately haven’t read it.

A preexisting love kinda takes away most of the actual meat of being against an arranged/forced marriage. It also robs the story of the opposition trying to properly weigh the pros and cons of it, since they're just gonna by default seethe about it because they can't be with their current love. Which while valid, is kinda the easy route and we should always aim higher.

Take the Noel example, there's a world of difference between the two of you being betrothed because you are both accomplished knights, and your clans are using the two of you to form a political alliance, and Noel picking you because you went adventuring with her a few times so if she has to get married, you are good enough.
