Poor Pekora had no idea what was going on in that ending. The confused clapping at the credits was pretty funny. Hopefully she will play the original at some point to get a better understanding of the story. I played the original and understood the twist of the remake, but even I was still confused by aspects of the ending.

I was really confused why you were fighting the whispers at the end, since the whispers would actually WANT you to leave midgar. What I gather is that Sephiroth essentially tricked you into fighting them, so that you would free the world from its determined fate (and thus his inevitable defeat). And I guess from the good guys' perspective, they think that Sephiroth is destined to win and the whispers are helping him (which they are mistaken about). It seems like the whispers cant really effect Sephiroth anyway, since we see him just swatting them away. So at the very least, taking out the whispers would be evening out the playing field. If Sephiroth is free to do whatever he wants, but the ghosts keep getting in your way, that would be a problem.

And also I still dont know what the fuck is going on with Zack. I dont see how destroying the whispers in the present would somehow save his life in the past. It's also is implied that it's an alternate timeline (With the alternate dog poster). I have no idea how the whispers affect that. So that is definitely going to be something they have to explain more in the next game.

But I like the fact they are doing weird stuff like this, because the original game's story is shallow and pretty bad. They realized when remaking it that it needed a more to the plot than "find Sephiroth" (who is a poorly fleshed out villain to begin with).

It's over, anon. Whatever happened between them it's clear they're no longer talking and actively avoid each other as much as possible. It's better to simply move on, as they seem to have done. They played it cool during the Gartic Phone PekoMiko requests, but it was obvious how awkward it was. Telling her to talk to Miko, or vice versa, won't help and is more likely to cause even further strain.

As great as PekoMiko was, they have other people who can have fun with. Pekora in particular meshes really well with Botan and Towa. No hierarchy or anything, just three friends bantering and having fun. Pekora is really in her element with those two and you can tell just how much fun she has with them. It feels very natural all around.

Botan is reliable, laid back, can adapt to anyone and is great at guiding other people, and Pekora looks up to her.

It is what it is. Regular popular entertainers usually have sound lives because their field forces them to be out and socializing or otherwise display your real self. Vtubers or faceless streamers in general don't, so you can get plenty of socially incapable girls into the spotlight as they never have to risk their own self.
With how shut in Pekora is and how her chat is pretty much 99% of the socializing she gets on your average day I don't even know where the hell she'd even get a chance to be courted.

You need to capture 10 of each enemy in the game to unlock it. Capturing works by killing the enemy with a normal attack using a weapon with a capture skill. It's less RNG than the DQ one. The bigger issue is that the superboss is stupidly overpowered

People rag on her for not sticking to a proper studying method, but comparing her ability to read, understand, and pronounce English from when she first started to now is quite an improvement for someone who most likely had no intention of ever learning the language. The DQ stream was cute in how it gave us details to how Pekora became so frugal and it almost definitely stems from the fact that they household was one that didn't give allowances to the kids.
So if Pekora wanted something she had to ask for money for that specific thing, she wouldn't get any if she just asked for money, and after buying it she'd also need to show what she bought.
Of course that also made her feel jealous of those who had allowances because of the freedom of being able to choose.

Another story that was less cute was her getting scammed of her rare cards at a game center by some people who looked to be slightly older. They asked her to see her cards and offered to show her their collection, and even offered to give one card to her if she found one she liked. As she was looking at the cards and paying no attention to her own cards, she picked one and the people quickly gave it to her and said goodbye, she thought they were being really nice until she found out she had been robbed.

I don't think she ever had intention of playing it more than she already did.
