Speaking from experience, it is very hard to be the champion for what you think is right, only for somebody else with better exposure to simultaneously validate your hard work and then seemingly get all the credit. It is soul crushing, and leaves you wondering if anything you did had value. It can take years to get past those feelings, and even then short-term relapses are not hard to come by.
I hope that one day she can realize that her suffering wasn't in vain and that shit did matter. Sometimes, the big heroes in the spotlight just don't thank you.

I don't think a career move will really help that much... I've been in that mental space of "Things are good, so why do I want to die?", making things more good, well, doesn't help that much, because there's always that one mountainous shadow hanging over your head and darkening your world. Getting "stuff" might make her feel better for bits, but true healing will have to come from within. And obviously that's made more difficult by being a public character on the internet with a lot of people being negative about you or bringing up past trauma, at least I was lucky enough to not have people egging on my depression.
But I know she can do it, Sayu, and humans in general are incredibly resilient. She might not feel like it, she might feel like she's taking steps back, but slowly she's healing the rift.
