Do you think it haunts them? Do they actually feel bad it? Are they even capable of feeling bad about it? Do they just pity themselves for what they've lost? Or are they just completely head-empty sociopaths?

They're sorry they got caught.

I don't care that much about Doki but I'm shocked that they thought they would win a battle of public opinion against her. Vox in particular sounded like such a slimy sociopath speaking as someone who's never watched him.

Only a fucking retard would agree to do a public statement, you leave that shit to the legal counsel (if they had one)

As incompetent as AC's management is, the more I think about it the more I really do think that Elira, Vox and Ike are just fucking stupid enough to think that it was a good idea.

Regretting your actions means acknowledging that you've made a mistake.
I doubt any of those three are the sort of person who's capable of regretting things.

Elira's reputation for all this was spotless up until she released the video. Mindboggling. The girl really does have rocks for brains, she could have come out of all this clean as a whistle.

It has been months since this video and I'm still clueless. The only rational explanation behind this video's existence is that the branch believed what Selen did was wrong enough to warrant an attempt at public character assassination. Elira, Vox, and Ike are still human beings with arguably functional brains so it's unlikely for them to agree to be the face of this video without having been assured it was the right thing to do.

I honestly believe at this point, they're deluded enough to think this was the best course of action and anyone leaving them over it is "not a true fan" and "shouldn't pollute their true fanbase"

While I exclude Mint who seems fine enough as kind of a clueless girl trying her best and that includes her fanbase which seems fine, I only see dramafag sociopaths actively fighting and shitposting in all this, no matter what "side" you claim to represent.

nvm looked it up myself, sweet mother of mercy

Honestly it makes sense, at the end the girls had a ton of fans who were on their last straw over their oshis being mistreated, leaving or being forced to leave, or selling out to the faggots in the male waves for numbers and clout. Honestly the outburst could have been worse.

In a way it was not that bad of a move for Riku. Think about it, had the black stream not happened, still Riku's stream would, since it was his responsibility as the head of the company. By making these three monkeys shoot themselves in public, Riku managed to redirect most of the hate he would have received towards them.

See that's the thing. They assumed Doki would be vindictive and try to drag their reputation(not that the had much left after terminating their most subbed and well liked female member).
In their fucked little heads they believed they needed to get ahead of what they thought she MIGHT say. This obviously failed.

>> No.76352101

Would the black video being on either Vox or Ike's channel cause more or less damage to EN?

>> No.76352139

>>76351711
The chat riot was insane to watch in real time. It was obviously a per-recorded video and the mods had no intention of sweeping it up. You could see the wave of disbelief when the Selen slander started. Up until this stream Elira was viewed as completely blameless. Enna was always the one who was cunty in public, but people forgot who brought her into the branch.

Don't think it dawned on Elira until later on that she destroyed her career. The Niji EN organs spend a lot of time in the discord server Elira runs. They only interact with each other and live in a bubble. They felt completely in the right with everything that went on and genuinely believed that they could turn public sentiment around if people heard their side of it.

>>76351850
Riku didn't make them do anything. Elira and crew did this on their own. She runs the EN branch and thought this was a good idea. They probably helped Riku in the long term since they became a target for hate and took pressure off him. EN could graduate everyone tomorrow and it would barely effect Niji as a whole. The financial news sites that covered this story noted that EN is only 15% of Niji's revenue.

>>76351998
Good point. Elira in panic mode thought Selen would try to expose their bullying to the public. They were expecting another Sayu. When she just took the high road they were left holding the bag. Even if Doki wanted to be vindictive, the wider vtuber community did a better job tearing Niji EN apart than she could have done on her own. A bunch of normalfag drama channels got involved in this scandal. The GURRAT was 4 view drama streams withing two days of the first threads about it here. Everything hit the stratosphere pretty quickly once the termination letter was published.

They only regret that people didn't uncritically accept it like when they fired Zaion.

>> No.76352292

>>76351945
Who is even left in Elira's fanbase for the old days anymore? Most of Niji EN can't even break into 4 view territory anymore. They used to be a real challenger to Hololive in the English market after Luxium debuted. Now Phase connect and many /lig/ggers get better numbers than them. One Finnana has even become a standard unit of measurement representing 300 ccv. Finanna used to get 2k+ in her first year easily. It's shocking just how badly they fell apart.

Nijinoids can't grasp the situation.
One co-worker tried to fucking kill herself, then she was given the boot and then middle finger by deleting her channel, after they already did the same shit to Zaion. And their biggest concern was them being named in a fucking private document?
These clowns weren't even being attacked but they made it about themselves anyways.

>> No.76352399

>>76352198
It was easy for them to fire Zaion and ruin her life and reputation. Sayu was a pariah for close to a year, only the drama channels wanted to be around her. Sayu did a lot to hurt herself after coming back as an indie. It was a fish in the barrel moment. Elira thought that Selen would be just as easy. Probably why they wanted to beat her to the punch with the black screen stream. They were expecting Selen to go scorched Earth.

Didn't Elira and Doki/Selen weridly have a lot of overlap in audience Or am I thinking of someone else? because jesus a LOT of faces that were in both don't show up in Eilra's chat anymore

>> No.76352533

>>76352388
Most of what we know for certain about who was responsible for the bullying inside Niji EN came from that stream. After the termination letter we only had proof that bullying was going on. Didn't take long for angry fans to have people to blame. It's a self own from a major company with little precedent. I remember talking to an anon in February who said he worked in public relations and that the Niji debacle was the talk of every conference and was being used as a case study on what not to do.

>> No.76352557

Pretty much him and Peebs are the two big names I think of when I think of her "important" fans, and the latter has basically stopped clipping her entirely. He's still a retard since he's still retweeting shit of her but knowing that even her strongest warriors are now unable to openly support her outside of a hugbox at BEST makes me feel incredibly glad.
On an unrelated note I used to wish for that potentially legendary Nui RPGtist collab but now I'm grateful it never happened and Elira'll never be able to get her disgusting slimy claws on my dumb gambling addicted wife, and now that I think about it her pathway to Patra is also now firmly cut off too.
