Anything anti-Christian such as anti-Biblical degeneracy and materialistic consumerism is rejected in favor of nationalism and traditionalism, tempered by love for God. Only a few cities are free of this.

Partially true. Consumerism and nationalism go hand-in-hand here. Refusing to attend church does shut you out of a lot of social circles, but it's not mandatory unless your family are chuds and you're a minor or financially dependent on them. I've never set foot in a church unless it was for a wedding or a funeral.
