I think that thing that really gets me about Gura isn't that she flakes doing solo streams. I don't like it but it's her show and I can at least see why someone wouldn't want to do it.

What gets me more is her not spending time with people who clearly care a lot about her and Myth as a whole. I see Myth and Promise having so much fun together on stream and Gura can't be fucked to join them unless it's a big money maker like holofes. It's one thing to be indifferent or even spiteful of facelss fans, some of which can be extremely hostile. It's something very bitter to ignore and ditch friends who care about you. It seems so heartless.

Yeah, I definitely miss the interactions. Gura is the most obvious, but all of the EN gens have done the same thing. A strong start, then nothing. It's only a matter of time until Advent never see each other anymore and half of them soft-graduate. Then we'll get a new gen, I guess.
I can see why Kiara got emotional. It's like making great, close friends, then losing them all one year later through no fault of your own. That must suck, I'd assume.

Without the clip being posted and with all this talk about Gura, I'm guessing kiara was baiting viewers and clippers with potential Gura news only to end up crying over how much she misses the times where she was leeching Gura. That's all what she did in the beginning of myth. Complain about numbers, complain about Ina getting to 1mil before her because of her birthday, complain about how nobody is as good as an idol as her, complain about how nobody pay attention to her both within her gen and viewers, etc etc

I get what you mean, but the fact is that feelings and friendship don't pay the bills. If Cover is allowing her to fuck off due to her still being extremely profitable despite her absence, then she can just come back for the big money jobs. Realistically, none of them are gonna keep in touch once all of this is over in the future, so there's no point to force a friendship with a bunch of coworkers you never even physically see at all and barely know or care about at this current time. Cold as it may sound, Hololive is still a job and their main purpose is to make money. Everything else is secondary or a bonus. Gura has the right to do what she's doing and if more people could get away with it, they would do the same too.
