I've had success by stepping up my cooking game, being kind to myself, and generally just making better choices, but yeah, it's hard. Using spices helped a lot though, I don't eat bland chicken and rice or whatever, but I'll do up some chicken breast with tons of spices and sweet potatoes and stuff. Moreover, I find that beating myself up and refusing any/all sweets or "cheat" foods just makes me snap back and binge later on. I keep some cookies or little dark chocolates in the house so that when I get a craving, I can just grab one (1) and curb the craving rather than sit and think about how bad I want some cookies for a week then binge a whole package when my will breaks. These are my tips, although it's gonna be different for each of us based on our body hormones and the like so you do have to do what works for you. This has allowed me to enjoy pizza on the weekends, or occasionally have some wine, and generally not be miserable on a diet though, and it's working! Keep it up, Wispie!

That's definitely tough. Foods that fill you up quicker can help, but also even a TINY bit of physical activity like a good brisk walk can offset some of the eating. Something I did when I was starting out, to wean myself off of big portions, is to turn it into meal prepping - portion out all the prepped meals into their containers, then have one container's worth for your meal, and then have some kind of snack/side dish after - my go-to is to cut up some bell peppers and dip them in hummus, which satisfies my compulsion to keep eating but doesn't fill me full of calories. And it keeps your tummy happy!

Consider trying intermittent fasting. You eat everything you eat in a day only during a shorter timeframe. If you eat breakfast at 7 and then the last thing you eat is like 9 or 10 in the evening or you eat even later at night, you shorten that. Say, first meal is around 11, and you will not eat anything after 7pm. Anything between that 8 hours is fair game, just try to eat a somewhat normal calorie amount of relatively healthsome meals without binging. If you are obese and accustomed to large amounts of food, you probably get cravings of eating a lot regardless during that timeframe, but just cutting it out from the evenings and nights will already have an effect on how your body processes nutrition
Eventually the body will notice that you have a new rhythm and will learn not to expect food during mornings and late evenings. Cravings, hunger and fatigue will go away relatively soon after sticking to a new schedule

you can try appetite suppressants like coffee (black of course for zero cals), also i did use a subscription app for tracking calories and it was pretty good, the pain in the ass was weighing the food i was going to cook. i stopped paying since ive gotten a good estimate on the calories for what im eating and i generally just eat once a day most days
