Lopi is clearly a flake and didn't want to sign the longer contract so that she could do a 1 year run and dip if she isn't feeling the corpo life. If she did sign and felt corpo life is shit, she'd be stuck with it or probably forfeit her IP to quit early.

I don't think there is any transfer of IP involved, just exclusivity licensing for the length of the contract.

Better contract, most likely. Phase has to up their contract if they want to sign more big free agents. Isn't VAllure's deal 80%-20% in favour of the talent? On the other hand, Brave is just throwing money at the talents. If you are a 3-view indie, why would you choose Phase? They might have the best managers and the biggest exposure potential but I think that most of these chuubas would take money before anything.
Another reason could be timing. Lisa's living situation wasn't the best and maybe she thought better Idol now than Phase in December.

I feel like she was preparing us for this x amount of months back. During the stream, she had said she turned down a corp and was hoping she did the right thing. She said it wouldn't be fair to her fans and she would feel like she's betraying them. She had a LOT of people saying she should go corpo.
