NTA but they've changed the rules somewhat since on of their early invaders got fired.
Instead of surrendering your entire IP you get a new model and on a technical standpoint a semi new identity thats slightly different.
For example, phase owns jelly and everything to do with that model,but moonjelly is still the full property of the OG person and theres no restrictions on them using it outside of phase.

To be fair, Sayu lost interest in joining Vshojo after Silver's termination and the subsequent drama. She only brought up Matara's issue with her because she wanted to explain to chat why she couldn't join, even if she wanted to. Even if Matara started talking to her again, I doubt Sayu would risk joining another clique.

Companies can offer a lot more than just pay. There's a reason shes kind of miffed about people blocking her ability to go to vshojo. Management that is paid better and more managers, is one. A company health insurance (for an American like sayu) would be good as well. There's also many other perks like easier to obtain merch deals, better networking deals, if the company isn't like nijisanji, the company will often pay for gifts for good performance.
And phase seems to have really good management. Sounds like pippa had to get her passport for a Japan trip and she was dragging her feet getting it done they flew one of their managers to her to help her get one. That's the kind of management that would be hard for a indie to get without paying a lot of money.
