Constant content that is pretty straightforward and leaves a lot up to the imagination creates a need for constant drama to make it interesting. To be honest, take away all the 4chan culture shit - the edgy humor, the over-the-top pent-up lust, the /pol/tards, the genuinely obsessed schizos - this is no different from how teenage girls discuss and think about popstars, or middle aged women and soap operas, or normie men and sports. It's just shut-in weebs are the core audiance, and therefore the fan culture is gonna be a bit more geared towards sexualization and obsession than normal.

They're anime girl waifus except they're not imprisoned within the context of some artist/writer/director's vision, they can change and evolve and grow in front of you and content is always coming out. If you have a waifu from a traditional anime she is static and unchanging beyond your personal interpretation of who and what she is beyond the information gleaned from that finished manga or completed 26 episode season, if you're lucky. There is also an element of the Japanese idol culture that they're still expected to abide by to some degree, despite the occasional (or repeated) subversion of that culture that goes on. IRL boobie streamers answer to no standards but their own and are often unabashed whores.

OP here, I like vtuber but 75% of the post here is schizo-tier shitflinging based on headcanon. Sometimes it's funny but most of the time it's migraine-inducing. Like holy shit man why? Also I need more A-chan and Marine collab.
