I'm gonna make a lot of assumptions, and they may or may not be true.

Often people who react the way that champy did do so out of self-hate, and it's not the result of something you did or didn't do Kiki, but it's the result of them spiraling in their own mind. It takes only a small trigger to descend down that hole, and the trigger may or may not even make sense, but once you're in the hole everything becomes black and white, and you start hitting yourself (literally or metaphorically), and it's suddenly instead of "I'm disappointed I missed something" it's become "everybody hates me I'm not a real champ they're all making fun of me".

It's insensitive of me to say they're inventing problems in their own heads that aren't real, but knowing full and well I've done that in the past and still struggle with it daily, sometimes they're really just inventing problems in their own heads that aren't real. It's almost like he's begging someone to tell him he's not a real champy, so that it will at least validate the feeling he's having and give him a bit of reality to cling to.

There's so much strong emotion swirling around the relationship they have with Kiki, and in some cases like my own they don't have experience with those emotions and don't know how to deal with them or interpret them, and they can act immature because of that inexperience.

Uuuuu I'm not a vegetarian but even that sounds pretty gross to me. I had a grape tomato once expecting it to be a cherry tomato, but instead it was incredibly tough and almost crunchy, with a thick leathery skin, and the whole experience was unbelievably off putting and gross. How's it going, Champs? I had to go to bed earlier than usual the past few nights since I've been so fatigued lately. It's always hard having to bail while Kiki is still live but hopefully things will chill and I won't be so physically and mentally wrecked in the near future.
To the VOD champ who went off earlier - I know the feeling at missing out on things - especially the more special and intimate moments - but please don't lash out like that. Reflect on the things you were saying and realize that that shit is all in your own mind. Getting pissed because Champs are discussing Kiki and her streams isn't something to be angry about, even if the stream ends up getting deleted at some point.
It's also not cool making Kiki feel bad about it. She's been phenomenal this past year at not delisting or deleting her videos. Most of the ones she has done that with have just been due to technical shit anyway. As others have said, just get an archiver. It helps, trust me. It's better than nothing. I hope you get your head in the right place for your own sake. Everyone here is about as chill as can be and there are always a couple Champs willing to fill you in on anything you might have missed.

I don't think there's any schedule that will ever satisfy everybody. The most important thing is for Kiki to be satisfied by it. I don't think of a schedule as being for my sake, but rather I think of it as being for Kiki's sake. Kiki has the envious position of being able to set her own schedule, not a lot of people can do that.

well when you consider that final fantasy has 10x the amount of games the chrono trigger series has you can find it much easier to find chrono triggers story novel and much more in depth. time travel is much more of a sci fi concept than more normalized jrpg plot points in FF like in FF9 where the beginning is just "what if protag kidnapped the princess... but hes actually the good guy?!?!"

It's more than the story. The combat system is so much more engaging, and in terms of progression there's almost zero grinding-for-the-sake-of-grinding necessary. Ignoring time travel as a plot point, using a central hub for world travel was a great quality of life improvement. Yeah but Final Fantasy was already six games in by the time Chrono Trigger got released, and CT was also kind of a special pet project. Plus CT's sequel did nothing to carry on its predecessor's legacy into the future. This is just the old man in me talking, but the first Final Fantasy game I felt really went in the wrong direction was FF8. I thought it was a fun game but wish it hadn't been a FF game. FF9 won me back, but FF10 lost me again, and it hasn't been the same since, for me.

I love the general idea of the class system, but it's rarely implemented well or in-depth. FF5 and FF Tactics did a decent job. I still love to play games that copycat the system like Bravely Default and Crystal Project.

I have the same problem with Terraria. Some people are much more artistic than I am and they can derive fun from building big elaborate and beautiful bases and homes, but for my own part the only thing I can really do is dungeons and exploring and cobbling together ugly stains of buildings.

I enjoyed Oxygen Not Included a lot though. It's much more directed and less free form, and I can apply creativity to solving problems with the colony that I otherwise would not have been able to apply just building a freeform castle or something.
