streaming, video essays, shorts (assuming they aren't literally stream clips but even then), and stuff like music covers are entirely different things that will appeal to entirely different people. having an audience in one place does absolutely nothing to guarantee you an audience in another. about the only chance you have at transitioning your audience over is if you make videos or do art and you make streams showing the editing or drawing process, and even then that's still only a niche appeal.

I'm not saying "don't even bother," just "don't expect your viewers from one place to follow you to another."

I was looking for an example I read before I debuted but basically, its the same sort of thing that happens with a lot of *real* menhera streamers, not just the garden variety BPD/Depression stuff. The full on numberfagging fueled meltdown types. They make large up front investments with money they probably don't have. They go into it with the expectations that (especially back during the covid era) they'll just make it back from their thousands of adoring fans. Then the fans don't materialize, the money doesn't materialize, the numbers just don't add up to match the unrealistic expectations they set for themselves or the expectations put on them by whatever black corpo operation they signed up for or whatever.
And they snap.

There are lots of examples of this but fuck you I'm not naming any of them just to draw people to the thread to talk about them. Menheras draw dramafags and unwell gachis like flies to shit.

What do you mean what happens? You avoid the whole thing by having more reasonable expectations. Most will never make back their "investment" into streaming. This isn't 2019 anymore. The gold rush is over and the market is as saturated as any other part of online streaming. You're not likely to blow up instantly or overnight. You may never blow up. Accept that early but work towards constant growth. Remind yourself that blowing up on youtube/twitch/twitter/etc is as much about luck as it is about working to create opportunities where you can get lucky. Work on content, develop yourself, network, do all of the things necessary to make your streams and non-stream content better so that when people do find you or the Algo(tm) finally looks in your direction, people see something they can latch onto.

Looks fine to me, is that exactly how you want your hair style to be? Trying to be more specific about your hairstyle is pretty important for your character as well as any accessories like hairpins, ribbons and etc etc. Do you want a logo on your coat or is it gonna be generic?
