Speaking as a former elira fan this is the case for me. I might've been able to grudgingly go back without that black screen stream but after that there's zero trust that the livers aren't all truly awful human beings, and the few that I feel are safe are ultimately still working for the corpo that allowed things to get so appallingly bad that it ended the way it did.

This is 100% true. If this was at all about the company showing their love for the livers, they would have spent some time last year polishing it and unscuffing it for a September or October release, instead of just mothballing it.

It was only removed from the vault as part of Niji's desperate efforts to salvage as much Q4 revenue as possible. They didn't have time to remove any of the scuff; the only work they could do was to remove Selen's scenes and the graduated livers' 3D models (but not their voices), and they had to do it quickly because there was only 6 weeks left in Q4 when they started doing any of that work.

Oh by the way the stock closed at 2226 today. It also dropped under 2200 for a few minutes.

This. It's a bit of a stretch but for reason I would liken it to the progression and treatment of Parkinson's disease. The goal of participating in concerts and making music gives their chuubas a greater purpose and a reason to improve themselves and their skills in the areas of singing, dancing, etc.

There is literally no proper apology at this point. The only proper apology would have been a summary termination of everyone involved in the black screen stream, a total retraction of all statements made within the stream and by her termination notice, and an official apology video addressed to Selen, all within the first couple days after the black screen stream took place. Either way it's hard for me to envision a situation so dire that Anycolor would rather weather the fallout of a branch closure/merger than accept the lumps that will come as a result of investors seeing them have a few soft quarters. Even without the context of the black screen, Riku's "apology" was a farce. His apology was only to the investors, and the only thing he apologized for the IR statement saying that Selen's termination was negligible.
