Basil and Charley. Slushy & Kankuro for the next gen if they do well.
Basil and Charley both have good audience pull and retention, and they cover niches that could work for corpos. I haven't seen Slushy work much with a schedule but he also managed to build his own audience well. I don't think I need to explain Kankuro.

I get what you're talking about, but I think my point still stands, mostly because of the way she zatsus, which is simply not the classic corpo VTuber way. It's just not something she does unless she has something specific to talk (or mald) about, and even then she prefers to do it while doing something else (e.g. the one time she was livid about Sega so she ranted about them for 20 minutes while playing Cyberfunk, or how she talks during art streams which is not easy mind you). There is usually a topic of conversation, not just bants.
I'd say she's pretty ADHD in that regard but she's high energy so it works. It's not like we all have to stick to a specific way of doing things. She does what works for her and she obviously got an audience while doing it.

Free here. So recently I was kind of ruminating on why I never had much success in vtubing. In the almost 2 years fuck... man... I have been streaming I never had any period where I reliably grew or had any kind of momentum. Despite getting quite a few twitch followers, my CCV never really followed in any kind of way. I was thinking about asking peoples opinion here, but why not just manager larp for myself? So here are some of my ideas.

1. Does not provide consistent content. I have played way too many genres of games, without hardly any rhyme or reason. And often switches games before I really should. A large proportion of the streams are also art streams. To sum it up, too much variety means my viewers are split up into too many audiences. Any particular one of my streams only appeal to a small number of the people who follow me.

2. Does a lot of art streams, but is not really that good at art and the zatsu during art is not good enough to make up for it. To put it very simply, there are a ton of really good artists on twitch. You have to be quite good at art to have a lot of people want to watch you just for that. Starting out I was a complete beginner, and frankly terrible. I am getting better but I am still nowhere good enough to get viewers specifically for art. While art has always been one of my best performing streams, I think it would have been better in the long run to focus on gaming only.

3. Is just too low energy. Put bluntly, I don't have enough energy to put into streaming. My emotional state is often too low to stream at all, and this often makes it difficult to stream and often hurts my stream quality. I feel like at my best I am a fairly good streamer, but most of the time I am working without a full deck. I try hard to keep a happy atmosphere on stream, but I know that my viewers can tell when I am not doing my best.

4. Does not stream enough and does not stream long enough. Ive always had bad pain due to back issues, so I was never able to consistently stream for long hours and keep up energy. I am almost certain if I were able to consistantly stream for 4+ hours when I do that I would do quite a bit better than I am currently. I would like to work on improving my endurance this but its a very difficult road.

I thought it would be useful to write this all. I don't really have a plan of action to improve though. I just don't have it in me at the moment unfortunately. I guess the first part of improving is trying to identify the problems though. Other insights are welcome if you have them.
