The bottom-left thing is different because it's pervasive and people will find any reason whatsoever to turn anything she says into "HEHE BOTTOM LEFT KIARA'S A DUMB PERVERT" and after a while the funny joke about your intelligence and how much of a pervert you are can get to you and hurt your feelings or cause confusing situations for you.
The dad thing at most is just a greeting or outlandish nickname for Calli that, yeah if it annoys her people should stop using it, but it's by no means a constant and never-ending onslaught of judgment of her character or personality.
Calli's been real with things that actually bother her as well, I'm sure you've seen people with the 5% quote and have seen at least clips of the stream that came from, that's enough to know she can be real about things if something really does bother her. Well, that and Off With Their Heads.
All that to say I don't think the dad thing is as big of a deal as people make it out to be.
