To be fair, Space Jam actually sucks quite a lot. It was carried hard back in the 90s by the Michael Jordan factor (even though his acting level is wood tier). Watching it now without Jordan's immense fame in the zeitgeist it comes across as lame and annoying.
If you have fond memories of it try watching it again. Anybody who didn't watch it as a child will have very little to enjoy. Its absolute crap that doesn't come close to living up to the Looney Tunes legacy. Back in action is unironically better.
