Feet without sandals don't have much interest. Art of feet usually show them from the bottom, which is unappealing as they're wrinkled like an old lady. Sandals show feet from above, where you can see toes and fabric from the shoe dancing beautifully up to the ankle. The toes can have polish on them to put more emphasis of their cuteness. Sandals are meant to worn outside which means the bare body can be appreciated from passerby. The exposed skin presented to outsiders show weakness usually only shown within the house. Sandals also mean Summer, and all the odors that are associated with them.
It's no exaggeration to say that sandals are superior to feet alone.

See, this is one of the great parts about being a footfag. For most IPs, drawing porn of it precludes you from ever doing official art for it. For a guy like Casino though? He can draw what he gets off to until the cows come home and not have to worry about it. He likes it, the audience enjoys it, and the company doesn't have a problem with it--everyone wins.

I'm talking about porn of the IP itself, not porn in general. Marine's artist has done a whole bunch of H-game art in the past, which is not something that would be disqualifying from the standpoint of getting picked as a vtuber artist. What IS normally disqualifying is drawing porn of the franchise you want to work for. Like if Marine's artist had drawn porn of Sora or Miko back in the day, he would not have gotten asked to make the design that became Marine.

None of this affects Casino because porn for him is just girls with beautiful soles and nice toes.
