It's possible that they have a different team handling this and another for HoloAlt. I think HoloAlt are mostly contracted artists. This one though looks like the new hires that they had since the beginning of 2021. Much like how Bloom is a project where A-chan is mostly involved. I think they let specific teams handles specific stuff. I think Polka's Legen of Polka also had it's own production team.

Just ignore it. Everything that they have done so far is successful. EN1. ID1. Bloom. Holoalt. From1st. Even Irys is successful no matter how much "hate" she gets. Her SCs and live views are consistent. This game will probably do well enough too to get their investment back from it and so that they can do a lot more. People were hoping for some mobile gacha game and Cover opted for a VR game. Seems way better as an option although I am still hoping for a mobile game.

You don't really know what exactly is happening in the background. Mori and Gura are actually doing something for Hololive already. And as far as personal or company driven projects, the talents themselves have a choice if they want to participate. Watame for one opted out of Bloom. Gura and Mori have very distinct tatse. They probably wanted to their own shit at their own pace. Profit wise as well they get a better cut if they finance it. This has been revealed by Lamy before. There is literally nothing stopping Gura from releasing more music. Nene can release music even if her SCs are far lower tham her. Polka releases covers bi-monthly. "support" isn't really the reason why they don't release shit as often.

The only way this whole mobile game would work is if they work with mobile developers like cygames and have an en publisher like crunchyroll handle the overseas stuff. This is going to be a long road since most decent games takes up to 2-3 years to finish
