- /aus/ has an existential crisis about its thread. baker choses to flee back home to us
- Thread agree's Coco throws are too strong and too simple for her to not be considered stupidly strong for no reason. Devs will continue to nerf everyone else next patch probably
- Juri anon continues to grind but things his mind set isn't the right one. Also can't master the combo he's been trying to do for a week
- Dev anon gives his game very generous grab range. As seen in a clip where he was showcasing a bug where the grab would whiff
- Anon gets soft locked in idol showdown due to a bug where the frontier copied his items that would cause him to revive. Mean the enemy AI revived after he won and left him at the victory pose screen
- Ken is the most popular character to play in street figher 6, topping the charts in China, Chile and >Argentina
- Dev implemented a 'paint splattering' system for things like fauna grass and watson concoction even though those characters aren't in just yet. Meant for stage surface effects

Fixed paint splattering, it is good now and justworks (TM)
However it does balloon the object count a bit. It has overwrites when necessary but I’ll need to be careful about not spawning too much to avoid tanking the frame rate below 60. Keeping the splatters themselves wide is good but it limits how narrow blocks and platforms can be. Then again, each is guaranteed at least one splatter, so it should be fine.

I lied it's not Mid High High, it's just Mid High but yeah.

Turns out it eats everyone. Fubuki's Mid High finishes into a window to mash for Mid High into a window to mash for Mid and if you go High the armor kicks in for the second tick on the high and you're punishable, so you probably just take the mid and figure out life. It works against everyone if you mash hard enough.

But those 8 hits alone deal a collective 261 damage and it's a true combo of just Mid High from the first mid connecting. Set the stick down and eat crow for a second. Silly and simple.

All that said, Coco's Essence of Dragon Drop still does base 280 damage with options for more based on burn that can be canceled out of for a decent mixup. And it's unblockable in a game that only offers a ? 1 ? frame throw break in the first place. So Fubuki comboing so long the game forces it to stop does at most 19 damage less than getting grabbed by Coco one time with a 4 frame startup.

Ayame has a 473 combo off her super that is guaranteed from Neutral Special. S S S into Down Down High into Down Right S (super). SSS into DDH goes into Up High as really nice and costs no resources for 334 and reset to neutral. Or you just SSS and DDH for oki.

For the damage and the speed, I think I like her best but she seems to have the worst Coco matchup. Having the entire aerial game locked down by that tail whip really shuts down her approaches that she HAS to do against someone she doesn't WANT to approach on the ground.

The best Soul Calibur that stuck to the classic formula without the attempts at "modernized" win buttons was SC3: Arcade Edition. This was the game that should have been ported over to all consoles but SC2 is where all the nostalgia is due to the wider console release with the exclusive character bullshit while vanilla SC3 got a buggy PS2 release instead.

Yeah, SC3 actually did add a lot of great single player content including character customization and had a story that truly mattered to the franchise with its new characters compared to the sequels where nothing matters. It just needed more playtesting and balancing that the Arcade Edition received in an era where patches weren't a thing.

alright this game is kind of funky, it seems the game forces a combo reset if you try to oki with your super. combos are kind of standard mahvel ass combos where its light into medium into launcher. character fall too fast so you have to be quick if you want to do a super after a full 'combo'. Obviously its not done since the only 2 characters are gura and ina but theres potential here at least

Anyways its the first of the series and it followed a more standard Super robot monster of the week kind of style because that what was tomino's background with shit like zambot 3. It revolutionized the real robot series since Zeta made it have more emphasis on war. MGS doesn't need much of an explanation as it basically dumbs down to "Canadian teenager killed soldiers while a blonde boy tries to take down the family who killed his father"

After some training today my computer monitor turned red, and when I tried to restore windows it imploded, therefore I will be taking a forced break from combo practice until i get it repaired.

Instead I will be doing some reading daigo's book and video watching . Also I think im ready to try locals so I'm going to join a street fighter discord of my country and find some info on events.

I been exactly to one local before in my entire life: I did pretty well despite being sent to losers bracket for arriving late. I dont think i could have won because there were some really strong people there but maybe now i can get top 8
