V-Dere's Mozu's merch from her birthday came in today. Not bad overall, I like the feel and look of the mug and it has a nice little mite stamp on the bottom of it. Came with a few squished mite stickers on the packaging too that, with minor effort, were easy to salvage as a bit of a bonus.

Kind of thought the other two pins would be a bit bigger but they do glow in the dark rather well. Didn't include the postcard for obvious reasons but it's also pretty nice with the message attached on the back.

They debuted in the same gen, Buoy farms a lot of shorts but Chiyo has actually made slightly more but hasn't gotten nearly the same mileage out of them, just feels unusual that the rest of the gen isn't even at 1k yet when Buoy is almost at 30k.

Buoy got a lot of subs due to her Shorts spam early on and the Orisongs. Chiyo makes Shorts from time to time and plays nostalgic games, mostly Nintendo games, that don't coincide with most of Buoy's viewers. Mila has it worst because she mostly plays Final Fantasy 14 Online. She also has a weird voice for a Vtuber. The girls also have occasional weeks of streaming only twice due to work. They do try to add variety to their streams if they can.

Even has a nice little swirl on the bottom inside, probably from the molding process. Kinda wish the green went a bit further down to balance the coloration but it also works well just having it near the top.

Also the bottom of the cup itself has a squished mite that looks like the stickers and is stamped on. I doubt it'd survive a wash, not that I'd ever actually use the thing as a real drinking cup.

Hey, not a dumb question at all! For starters, clippers and fanart are nearly integral to shilling your chuubas, especially when they're small. From a fan's perspective, it's tough to do much else aside from that and directly giving them donos and paying for commissions. Mero streams on yt and her debut delay kind of screwed her over. From what I've observed: Raein and Rhea can more than afford to do whatever they please, wherever that money comes from. Mimosa is her own league as her humor is quite crass but it's endearing regardless, and she seems rather experienced. For Mero, all she can show right now while she doesn't have the financial support is heart and hard work. It's also rather clear how big the gap is between her and the other girls - she seems to be the only one with not as much commissioned work outside of the things she uses for stream (not sure about Mimosa). When the chuuba can't support themselves, the company has to do better. We see a lot of creative ideas from the other girls, they might truly have just left Mero behind to fend for herself.

Yes. I think the only outlier is Yoshii doesn't follow Rinna back. But it could be I just can't find her in the list, because Yoshii was seemingly the only sneaky one and followed a bunch of random vtubers at the same time.

The algorithm feels entirely random at times, all you can really do is spam shorts, ads, events, etc, and hope you get a hit, basically the vtuber equivalent of playing battleship. On the plus side, Yume+ has already got an entertaining roster so if the opportunity ever comes for them to get exposure I don’t think it will be wasted, other new small corpo chuubas don’t always start out entertaining and need experience to really come into their own, Yume+ does not have this problem.
