Love is an abstract idea and is based in the desire to care for and be around those that hold meaning in our lives. That could mean protecting, nurturing, wanting to be around, etc.
It's an emotion tied more to desire than any other because one's desire for love or to protect those whom we love can even outweigh one's desire for self-preservation.

Your problem is that you are clearly extremely autistic. When I initially wrote "desire", because of your limited intelligence and inability to think abstracly, you immediately associated the word with something like someone wanting sex or food or money. You are thinking too simplisticly.
Desire is what drives all living thing things in everything they do. It is synonymous with motivation and is different from person to person.
Everything that anyone does can always be broken down into them doing something to fulfill some kind of want. It's what separates you from a robot.

You posting here for example, is because of your desire to associate or interact with others that share your interests. It would fall under the more generalized desire for social interaction. Alternatively, it's instead possible you post here to fulfill your desire for entertainment because annoying others amuses you.
You don't need to be a mind reader to understand other people. You just need to not literally be autistic or a sociopath. If you're capable of empathy or thinking of things from perspectives that aren't your own, it's very easy to understand why other people do what they do.
