Thank you. I am actually cutting my stream short for tonight because my voicebox(?) (I didn't take the Anatomy Class perk) hurts a lot. I did an 11-12 hour stream a few nights ago and didn't give myself a break. I really don't want to take a break from streaming but my throat is killing me. I'm still able to chat with people textually, via the Mama Ubume discord and twitter, without issue.

My throat is just genuinely hurting a lot. How do streamers handle this? I am drinking more water and having cough drops in the future. I want to ideally stream for 8 hours a day every day.

Streamers generally do 3-4 hours a day because that's when viewers and retention start sharply dropping off and how it's killing you. Doing 8 hours a day is not only crazy but irresponsible. Your content is very samey and you push yourself into doing multiple 10 hour streams in the past few days. You need to take rest days in between to recover otherwise you're gonna lose your voice completely.

From a branding perspective, I would say it's a bad idea. It's hard to tell without knowing what the pun is and what level of lewdness you're going for. In general, sexualized brand names turn off normal consumers and if you have a sexualized name, and your content isn't sexual, it can feel like false advertising. Having a sexual name for the sole sake of edginess can make you come off as younger and more immature, which may work for your brand, but, I don't know your content, so I really can't say.

but I suck ass at textures... and everything in general

this is an unwise mindset. of course there's going to be vtubers that will solely see you as free art machine, artists have to deal with that in every community. just understand that people like that are real and be cautious with new chuubas you meet. thats the case with meeting anyone new online.
also what >>73131578 said, if you're gonna come here wanting to draw chuubas for money you have to make yourself known as a person that draws chuubas. people arent gonna NOT commission you because youve made fanart, dont worry about that. People are gonna commission you so they can see more art out of you and support you while youre at it. Fanart helps with connections and making yourself known, and in turn you can have people vouch for you to get your stuff verified on VGen. You dont HAVE to make stuff for free but it certainly helps with getting a bigger portfolio and then commissions. You may not want to draw small chuubas buit ultimately i think theyre the people more likely to support an artist starting out on commissions.

sadly I cant be of much help with vroid, I found the program very limited and didnt enjoy it at all, I tried learning blender after it

As for forms ans structures you need to learn the basic, I'd recomend yu to look at books of andrew loomis for some basic concepts but PLEASE don't marry yurself with them jus learn the essentials and then apllly it to your own otherwise you will struggle

Another thing I can recommend you is just try drawing some still life for the form of the object is a god study to learn how forms work, and the space an position of objects it sounds very basic but this small practice can help a lot for your brain to re wire it, you even start to see the different color and lighting acordint to it so over all learn to observe once yu get that you can apply what your eyes got but learning to observe is fundamental I wish you good luck with it!

Like, when I was trying to learn, I tried to trace a lot of stuff and I could trace very okay and do everything look legit but I that's just copying. Even if I change small parts or use multiple images to trace, it is copying... right?
Another thing I did to trying to practice pixel art was taking a normal sized picture and shrinking it to like 100 pixels and trying to trace the form I could see. But that's still tracing, right? How do actual artist draw?

The only correlation between male vtuber models and cancellation are those that enter the "lewdtuber" sphere. That's the case less because they're male and more because they're already creeps but they're in a space where they think they can act out more and be more sexually imposing on others. There are plenty of creepy people in that field, however, because most are literally and mentally immature and never actually learned what boundaries are. If you're an emotionally mature adult then there's no reason not to pick a model type that reflects you and your personality rather than your friend's desired fetish.
