Yes, it is a tournament called Tokyo Online Party. It's 3v3, she and her team had the first fight about 40 minutes ago and won, and Towa contributed with a victory over a platinum 2 Cammy, so good for her. Now they are just training with each other and passing the time until the next round

Today I just did ranked. I was trying to do the fconcentration exercises but I dont think I was very sucessful.
I started focusing on the clock, repeating to myself the countdown. It does calm me down but I felt like I could had done much more if I focused on the fight. Strangely enough my usual flowchart can be done pretty easily even if I am counting the numbers, its the variations what fuck me over

I think Gura’s OOS game is kinda mid. Frame 8 usmash isn’t bad but not awesome either and I think her fastest aerial comes in with bair at frame 11. Don’t even try to use up special either, it doesn’t have a hitbox until frame 20. I think her best option id grab, which gets crossed up bad if you space right.

Also that been said the Japanese embraced modern while westerners keep holding to it out of pride. All the replays I see from modern masters have the JP flag.
The advantages of modern are not evident but I believe a combo you cant drop no matter how nervous you are is useful, and having simple DPs and Supers is useful if you feel like you are about to puke. Some people play for fun, some people play to win, and some people play to win tournaments specifically.

Understandable, I suppose casual people like to see the large positive numbers and the extremely exaggerated bonuses that SF6 gives you before platinum. Once there, it becomes relatively "normal" and people new to the genre become demotivated by no longer seeing huge numbers of points for each victory.

Probably for the same reason in most modern competitive games, they reset your rank every season, so people want to get back to their rank and with that they are "tricked" into returning. Here people reach platinum or master and say "that's it, I finished the game" and since they never get lower they don't play anymore.

Just my opinion but that sort of thing feels kind of bad to play against, even if it negligible its a bit tilt inducing (at least for me). Also its a bit of a win more mechanic, which is fine, but might be a bit rough to balance

Alternatively you could give everyone (or most) one move for lifestealing so it feels fair for everyone but i don't know if that's the best way to do things.
I could see it working thematically, people already mentioned fauna, shiori and ina, but it would be easy to justify kiara (phoenix stuff), gura (gawr mode), kronii (time rewind) or mumei (berries, or horror lore stuff) getting lifesteal for example, and then having a specialized life steal in mori should be totally fine
just throwing it out there, i have no gamedev experience so i'm just speaking from feel
