It's much easier to share a corpo debuting than an indie because they have a support network and brand behind them, thus they can likely (in theory) achieve more. When I shared First Stage here, various doubts arose by many here. Some understandable and others more single minded. Yet they continued to thrive via consistent output and support, both by the company and fandom alike. Will Globie Gen 2 or NEXAS have the same fate? Time will tell.

With indies, you have to spend more time preparing yourself or planning for a reason to share them. Going "Oh I found this guy" will come across as shilling. We've had a few failed attempts at that in here. So special events or 2.0 outfits would be the prime time I'd risk a share of an indie I like.

"Yeah, but what you looking for?"

I am very scatter-brained with content output. By which I mean, I could see two chubbas streaming the same game and know that one will do better than the other at it based upon the other merits they have. If it be the passion they have for the genre, the ability to sell the experience or just a natural ability to engage with chat. But do factor in that I am a guy, watching guys so what I seek will vastly differ from a lot of you girls.

I just want to say that that definitely left a bad impression for me with him. He was the one to break the rules in the first place and then kept arguing for attention and interaction. I don't hold anons who are non-vtubers to the same standard as I would for a vtuber so I expected him to have more class and not be such a dramaqueen.

Mothman was in some /asp/ group or something from the looks of it and made enemies. Definitely not a good look for him either. Should have focused more on his talents rather than writing elaborate shill posts and form cliques and making enemies.

Also, asking "what content would you like?" Is not a good look for indies either. Just another trend follower and no focus on improving and doing something you actually enjoy.

So here is my advice to all indies who are reading this. Don't do anything that makes you look like a dramaqueen in a drama club. Try to have fun with what you do and hone whatever craft you choose. (It has to be something you choose specifically) Maybe if you're gonna type in the thread at least have some interest in the topic rather than just be here to shill yourself. Also, the best way to drop your link is just to drop your live and don't do anything too elaborate, don't engage or argue, and just leave it at that.

When it comes to singing, Octavio comes to my mind first. He sometimes has that dumb cute charm especially in collabs but probably not the kind you're looking for.

Yeah, I know exactly who you're talking about and I sympathize with you. I'm guessing you already know about the Avallum boys so I don't need to tell you about them. I know the way he talks filters a lot of people but I admire Rosco's talents and his drive to get better at singing and music making. That's all I know of for EN. I'm sure the JP anon can tell you of more singing JP indies and small corpo boys. I'll keep an eye out on those new Globie boys. The pink one is adorable so far.

I try to shill my favorites every chance I get and this doesn't fit completely. The Piece A Part boys are indies but they were corpo for about 3 years. They're all very passionate about being idols and that's their group theme, idol group vtubers. They all have tons of covers individually and as a group. Would recommend Ayane Leon and Hoshinouta Kaz because they seem to karaoke a decent amount. As for being a bit stupid and think that fits a bit too but that point is vague / up to interpretation.
