Java was first seen on stream RPing on Roflgator's map on Sep 27 2018 and Raziel was first seen on stream RPing on Nov 10 2018. They didn't have their public "date" stream until Dec 2018 though. Java's birthday is mid november.

Whether or not you think they met when Java was 17 or 18 depends whether you think they talked off stream before they were caught on camera together. In terms of video evidence, no has picture proof that she spoke to Java before he was 18. They were, however, active in the same community while Java was 17.

None of this really matters anyways because I don't think Java was advertising that he was a minor because he wasn't supposed to be there in the first place while underage.

Tbh the main thing that I feel is more jaded about vtubing as a whole. There's a pretty high probability your hololive oshi is racist/transphobic and there are skeletons in their closets that could come out if they were doxxed, but I feel like Cover is just that much better at censoring it.
