They're communicating but I wouldn't call it updating. There's no info on when they'll return, how things are going for their hunt, etc. We have no fucking clue when they'll come back and it's been shown that they try to hope for the best when it comes to their generic estimate.
The fucked thing is they don't want to stream outside of their usual time during this disruption and they're afraid they'll piss off their core audience by doing so and with little warning. It's stupid because anyone who's willing to show up to most streams will be fine with sometimes having to catch a VoD until they're fully set up. They could easily do their daytime hunt for a bit, and maybe a few times a week get a spot at the Holo building later in the day for an hour or two stream. They could even just do a weekly twitterspace, but they're scared people will feel like they 'missed out' which is retarded because anyone who cares enough about them will just go get the files.

Yeah in jp they stuck with it all leading to it's success and popularity hence they're more into it, even reinvesting some of their money back. I remember that one miko clip in a meeting with other talents praising them for being serious in planning their contents.

En side though just slight inconveniences and they'll start complaining about morals/unfairness or you'll get the feeling they're starting to jump ship by making content on their other accounts.
