Long term embedding seems like such a retarded idea because
A. The views are ghost viewers at best. They don't count for partner

B. They're not chatters and it makes your chat look suspiciously empty and that's a massive turn off for new chatters

C. It fucks with your metrics. You will never be able to look at your viewer counts over time and be able to tell if you're growing or not because of the artifical and everchanging numbers

D. It's kind of sad

Nobody likes ads, but there are definitely ways to handle those without severely ruining your viewer experience. I know we see these "I'm never turning affiliate on ever because ads bad" posts every other day and it just sounds like a skill issue. Schedule your ad breaks to the hour, get up and stretch your legs (as you should be anyway, fatty), etc. If ad breaks are unavoidable, while mid content, include a chat notitication that reminds viewers that you can watch the stream uninterrupted by using the pop-out window and unmuting that. It even has full sound.

I kinda regret harping so much on how I've actively seen people be rejected for partner due to botting/embedding in the past because the morons that defend it keep saying "nobody's at partner level anyway lmao" and ignore the bigger issue is that everyone, up to and including twitch staff, can see right through it.
if a low viewcount is affecting your mental state, having artificially inflated numbers is just going to introduce imposter syndrome on top of it. if you're having trouble getting new chatters to stick around, having a large viewcount and an empty chat room is just going to make them smell something fishy and assume you're up to no good. but also yes, in the future, if you are trying to apply for the checkmark twitch can tell something's up and will almost assuredly reject you for the foreseeable future.

Just use Exeldro's 3D effect filter to the source. You can use some other shaders to alter its appearance to make it more or less opaque, give it scanline jitter or whatever. You can also use it for basically every kind of source on your streams.
