Yes, although I consider it a little of column A and little of column B, although there are probably cases where only the latter applies because some people assume negative comments can only exist on 4chan. Going by my wheelhouse, I think Risu and Axel are definitely /here/.
The secret GC stream is a standout one, with most others doing it more secretively, although that's a backhanded compliment given how blatant that stream was.

Supposedly, Millie's explanation in a since long-deleted tweet was that it was meant to "poke fun" at some of the hate they receive. But people within the company tended to flip flop, because some like Mysta didn't seem to be aware of what was going on at all (or they were in on it and merely pretended not to). And there were people like Pomu who streamed not longer after the stream was going on, because she said the whole thing got "too real".
There were also things that made it feel less like a parody and more like an excuse to shit on each other under the guise of "satire" like describing XSOLEIL as FLOPSOLEIL despite the wave only being out for 2 months at that point, or how they shat on Pomu's 3D debut despite everyone on /nijiEN/ and the catalog loving it.
