What difference does it make for them to leave Hololive just to say they were ex-holo vs just streaming with their alt while they're in Hololive? Everyone knows they were in Holo so I don't think it would make a difference if they left Hololive only to have the privilege of saying they used to be ex-holo.
The idea sounds neat in paper but anyone that left Hololive just to be able to brag about how they "used" to be there would just end up being taken as a desperate attempt for clout for their past glories, the streamer would see itself as an empty shell of her former self and realize that their audience is following them because of the person she "used" to be and not who she is "now"

The conditions aren't bad for this. Pippa's fans don't stick around to watch other girls, that much is known. We can see raids from one girl to another retain relatively well, but raids from Pippa to another girl (rare as they are) fail spectacularly most of the time, as do raids INTO her (rarer as they be).
