A lot. To give one example, I don't remember the stream anymore, but there was one time where she said something like "You guys spoil me a lot, thaaank you." Whenever she thanks us like that it makes me feel warm.

Superliminal was undoubtedly one of the most important moments for me and for many. But I must say that Outer Wilds streams are among the most beautiful experiences I have ever had.

The sight of that curious and inquisitive Amelia who thoroughly investigated the Nomai ruins, uncovering every piece of knowledge about that ancient civilization. Being amazed together of the wonders hidden in the solar system. Achieving things that seemed impossible like landing the solar station and celebrating such feats together. As well as she told us about how Outer Wilds influenced her and made her dream about space many times. The amazement we felt when we understood the quantum nature of the Moon. The excitement we had as we understood the significance of her actions and the way we witnessed together how all the gears of the universe clicked into place on their own.
All while an incredible and delicate soundtrack graced each of these moments.

It is those moments, more than superliminal, that I find myself treasuring most in my memory. Revisiting them from time to time with much fondness and warmth, and with a stupid grin on my face. And, oddly enough, I never watch the archives.

These girls are streamers and the main thing to be judged on for success is simply how many viewers they attract. Not who wakes up the next morning and clicks on their video thanks to the YouTube algorithm doing its bit.
Now here comes the important part. What they stream is almost always what determines the amount of people that tune in. Many Anons deny it, but there are certain games and streams that people simply care more about. Gura was streaming to 8k viewers once because people were so disinterested in Metroid. Now take that same logic and imagine what happens when Ame play things like Mario Boomer Edition (as young viewers probably see it) and random Indie Game #43.

A channel of Amelia's size and characteristics earns between 500 and 1000 dollars per day in Ads, you have many ways to calculate it, and I would bet that between that range Amelia is leaning towards 700-800 since she must have a good viewer engagement.

Now, if you calculate the average generated by Superchats on Amelia's channel, you would find that she would be generating less than with Ads. Keep in mind that the money generated from Ads already has Youtube Take involved, so it's a simple 50/50 with Cover, and of what is generated from SC's, they only see 35% since both YT and Cover have their share.

And all this revenue is completely overshadowed by the membership. Taking a reasonable number of 10k members, and assuming ONLY half of them are worth $5 (which is absurd, most Amelia viewers are from USA) and the other half are worth $2, it would be generating more than with AD's and Superchats combined.

I wrote something similar a while back when people were concerned that Amelia wasn't getting much Superchats. Her main source of income is memberships, make no mistake. Obviously it's different for giants like Rushia or Marine who receive an absurd amount of Superchats.

Sorry for numberfagging, but I thought it was important to mention these issues as some may not be aware of it. Also, ESL, it is quite obvious.

Pretty good read to be honest. In fact my rrat for why Ame is so comfortable turning off SCs these days is because she's confident in how much she recieves from memberships alone. My guess is the number of members keep going up and up, and don't fluctuate like SCs do. So she know no matter what she's always going to get a healthy monthly pay-day from her members.
In the past her memberships probably weren't quite as consistent (I imagine there was a big boom at the start and then a large drop). So she leaned on Superchats more.
