I knew all the stuff she talked about, because I'm ancient and did all of that shit 15~20 years ago, and the game hasn't actually changed all that much fundamentally, you just have more competition.

One of the interesting things that came out of her presentation today is when she talked about one of the benefits of being in a corpo is having a tight night group of collab partners you can trust. I recall Matara talked about something like that recently too, like that its hard to reach out to other indies and connect with them because you're not sure how much info you can freely share with them without violating NDA's or putting yourself at risk.

But Doki suggested that part of success as an Indie would be to essentially build your self a group of trusted partners, basically a ad hoc "gen" if you will, who you can rely on just as much as a corpo genmate. She went on to say she was in the process of building such a group.

I'm curious who will make it into the Doki-squad eventually....any predictions?

I think for sure we'll have gumi, rpr, dtto, and uto. I could see her working with Filian on planning big vtuber events. I thought Doki and Shylily had really good chemistry as well.
