Going on the assumption that Kotoka was the one only who was told everything, I find the angle that she was forced to off since no one would hold this over her head if she never let it be known that she had this info. If anything "being forced" would sound like more of a convient excuse in case caught
It's just hard to think Mel would've been suspected of anything without someone tipping someone off without Mel being able to deny it but it also doesn't feel right for Mel to do this in a way her ass would not have been covered
