I'd need to figure something out that writes decent quality. GPT4 was insane to me because it kept said quality fairly high and it felt like I was talking to another person without it going schizo or feeling like I was talking to...well, a bot. I used Kobold before that and while it got the job done it felt kind of low qual after GPT4. Granted this was only a few months ago (the period of using GPT4) and I doubt my PC is decent enough for it unless a 3060 will cut it

Does the inside of your sillytavern folder look like this? Also it seems like your command prompt is directed to your system32 folder, ignore command prompt for now, instead try going to your tavern folder and just right clicking + running as admin on the UpdateAndStart windows batch file (circled)

I haven't finished the extra installs from Node like chocolatey and python because I wasn't able to close my other programs at the time, so I'm thinking that might be playing a role in it. npm install

Then close the console and try right clicking and running the updateandstart (in the same folder) as admin again

No, SillyTavern is literally a thing that writes the text on your screen, all the other work does the backend, which are AI models, and if they are local then you'll need a decent PC to run one, but most anons just use proxies which do not require you to have a good hardware. You can run SillyTavern even on your phone, just go to their github page.
