That's basically how all vtuber corpos grow, isn't it? Even Hololive and Nijisanji started out with a tiny amount of viewers back in 2018. I guess the only exception would be if you have a huge amount of startup capital to run ads and other promotions, but the only time I've seen that happen with a vtuber corpo was with Idol and even they weren't talked about that much until Rin went viral.
