Were the MC moments of Holofestival 5 prerecorded? Obviously the songs were. But the interaction with the crowd was sometimes awkward too, and the timing of the responses a little off. Did anyone notice a moment, proving that the interaction was live?

>> No.71749834

Which interactions were awkward? I didn't feel that way with any of them.
>Did anyone notice a moment, proving that the interaction was live?
All of them. In the end it doesn't matter because anons will believe what they want to believe, or whatever gets them the most (You)'s.

>> No.71750421

There were moments that performers would reply to the crowd, even before the crowd started shouting the words the performers asked them to say. But anyway, I could be wrong.

I mean, IRyS's MC portion was telling them that her penlight color is purple not red...

This. Then there's PekoMari who reacted to the crowd a dozen times during their MC segment.
Pretty much all of them reacting to the penlight waves.
Plenty of examples that prove they're not prerecorded.

>"Hey guys, do what we tell you to do"
>Audience obviously complies
>"Wow, you did it! Sugoooii"!!

The only thing I heard of, so far, is Luna talking about how her and Nene mentioned the Korea/ID watchalongs during the Honeyworks MC, only to find out later that they weren't happening. Luna said something like "It was in the script, so we said it, and later had to mention that 'oops, they weren't happening after all'. "That can happen when things are live".

That's the only example I know of where they reacted to something happening recently/in real-time.

Nah MCs are live , otherwise there would be no reason for them to disappear and then appear again after the performance is over
In holosummer everything was prerecorded which is why there were no cuts between performances and MCs

If you've ever had any doubts, the Ollie Mumei MC should really put that to bed forever. Ollie's head rigging straight up broke and then they cut the camera away. Even though they poofed away, so Ollie and Mumei were the only ones you didn't get to see poof

If it was prerecorded they wouldn't keep something in that they would need to cut the camera feed for.

Yeah this is all the proof that's needed, but it was already obvious that MCs are live. I'm actually surprised some think they're prerecorded.

Kiara and Gura talked about running out of time and other groups doing the wave before they did so they had to think of something else. If it were prerecorded neithet of these issues would arise

>> No.71753728

I wouldnt be surprised if there were a notable delay due to the setup, which is why some of the responses would seem off in timing.

Nothing is prerecorded for holofes. Yes, this means Korone did in fact do that flip.

Any proof? Love the girls even if it turns out to be all prerecorded, but some of them really sound like they are not performing live, specially group songs.

pretty sure this is the first time they've had the mixed reality in the MC parts, whereas before it was always just filming the screen. so them having the ability to do that in real time is new if that's the case.

>> No.71760784

>>71759168
The singing is always pre-recorded, even when the actual performance is live.
Some performances are obviously pre-recorded, but sometimes the girls brag about it being real live. It can be hard to tell the truth.
What's obvious though is that every MC section is live. It has always been the case too so I wonder if OP is a newfag.

I agree, but it would be hard to convince me that that the MC sections of Connect the World concert in US last year, were live.

I didn't watch that one. But what makes you say that?

>> No.71763276

>>71762664
The interactions in that concert were minimal and when the girls talked to crowd telling them to do things a couple of times, the timing felt off. Perhaps Cover did not have a studio rented in LA. I don't have the technical knowledge, can someone tell us if you can have your performers lets say in Tokyo in a studio, and interact in a large concert in LA?

>> No.71763399

>>71762664
The concert was in the US so they recorded the whole thing, including the MC parts. It wouldn't be a problem if it was done properly, but since the girls were not in Japan at the same time they had to stitch them together badly and it was fucking awful.
Cover caught a lot of flak for it, but since it was the first EN concert and they finally announced EN3, they still got away with it.

>> No.71763438

>>71759168
Any proof that it isn't? Besides you thinking it doesn't "sound" like they're performing live. How can you tell the difference?
