some did when they formally got permission for that game. but a lot didn't, even if they got permission, because holos would sing random songs in the middle of stream or show a picture of something that they didn't have permission for so that would leave the whole vod dead. happened a lot in minecraft. and on at least one channel (subaru) retarded managers permanently deleted the vods instead of privating them so they can't be recovered.

There's a lot of overlap between the Niji fanbase and hololive antis, so the lines get kinda blurry when you try to attribute blame for things, but there were plenty of cases of people actively trying to get them in trouble.
