Investors are often quite stupid, but they're highly responsive to current news. The market already responded to that dumpster fire and the current drop is more about the lack of a plan to turn things around during the Q3 earnings call. The Japanese market has a stop loss that most exchanges lack, so we could see some more red this week, but it's approaching a reasonable P/E ratio and should crab out fairly soon.

The whole point is that a company has better use of the money "they're sitting on" instead of blowing it on an inflated debt because of interest rates. They can expand the company, do more projects, increase wages , practically do anything with the money instead of paying back an inflated debt. There is no such thing as useless money, it's always useful and it's better spent not handing it over to a bank

>> No.71707624

>>71706481
>debt is only bad if you can't pay it back
Borrowing against the future is always bad in the long run. It's a pretty common fallacy people make that the past predicts the future and that if you paid off a debt 99 times then that makes the 100th time predictable. It's the complete opposite, the longer you go without any problems the more the probability something shitting the bed goes up exponentially. There's no such thing as infinite growth and there's no such thing as infinite debt. The key is to get off the debt train as close to the inevitable catastrophe as possible so that while everyone else sinks you're still above water and recover way faster than everyone else.
>but cheap debt
Cheap debt is an illusion, all you're doing is externalizing the debt in the form of currency devaluation which directly translates to loss in domestic purchasing power. I mean, if you're a foreign company that doesnt give a shit then great I guess, but if you're living and operating or based out of your own nation's economy then you're just shitting where you live and eat. The main problem isn't even so much that the economy takes a shit, but that a lot of times the monetary problems creep in so slowly no one really notices, and then it ramps up in a blink resulting in social and civil unrest and the people benefiting from it make excuses to keep it going and then act like the victim when it inevitably implodes the economy.

It's probably a good short term hold or momentum stock to trade before the next quarter of earnings because of hopes that everything is priced in including Selen now but I highly doubt it since no one is saying Anycolor will miss expectations and investors are believing everything is on track despite the fact that to hit their annual predicted results, they needed a better quarter than the one they had just now with NijiFes buffing everything.

Debt allows you to expand operations by building and investing into the business to generate further cash flows. While it is also possible to do this through giving up more stock (and control) of the company, a proper public company mixes these methods. Your post demonstrates how an individual might handle this issue with their own finances, or a tightly owned private company would. Public companies do not act like how you described in which growth and higher stock prices are paramount.

Every single branch has had the exact same problems, including JP. EN is just the first one to let them escape so publicly. Clearly it's a problem that doesn't simply stop with EN and has to do with the company as a whole. KR's clique was even worse than EN's.

Those 3 types are all different people, VT is hardly a hivemind, I feel like a lot of the people saying Niji would go defunct today were either exaggerating to troll the sisters or were ignorant of the real processes, Don't get it twisted though, Them dropping to mid 2000s after EVERYTHING they pulled to pump up the stocks is a disaster, Even if it recovers a little, Its a massive massive headache and i doubt they'll recoup back up to 3k before the next major yab

>> No.71725595

>>71725389
No that's my take and I know I am probably minority, I just think what happened doesn't justify tanking the entire Niji, that's hundreds of jobs gone, these talents and workers are just people, they can gut the EN if they want heads to roll.

The workers aren't doing their jobs and exploiting the performers, who are harassing each other in front of fans who brigade anybody at the drop of a hat, including the performers themselves. The whole thing is scum from top to bottom.

>Makes debt smaller over time
Wrong. The debt doesn't just go away , it still is money that has to be continuously paid off, the interest rates just stop mattering as much. Relying on borrowing money to expand when you're already self sufficient enough to fund your own shit is dumb as hell . It'd be like borrowing money from a friend to buy lunch when you already have the money for lunch on your own. And should a company ever need to take a loan due to an emergency, they just tacked on even more debt with a higher interest rate into the already existing debt. Being in debt is generally bad

>> No.71728649

>>71728550
If inflation is high your nominal revenue inherently grows while your debt stays the same. You're stuck with a poor person mentality.

>> No.71728968

>>71728649
Except interest rates can also raise because of inflation so the debt isn't stagnant and generally everyone is poorer when inflation happens which affects the cash flow of whatever company you have since the customers have less money so do you. So since inflation is shit across the board, you may be in financial trouble and need to take out an emergency loan to pile into an already existing loan and now you're two times in debt. Not taking loans is a rich person mentality since they don't need to take loans, they're the ones giving them out

>> No.71729388

>>71728550
Why on earth would you grow steadily and slowly, when you can reinvest both your self-sufficient funds AND loaned money? It's not like there is ever a limit on growth opportunities to spend on. So long as the returns on your own investments outpace the interest rates it's literally free money. And so long as it keeps outpacing the interest rates, there's no incentive to pay everything back immediately since you get higher returns on expanding the company than you do on repaying loans.

Because that's the same as saying why should I I not go all in on a single play of poker instead of playing multiple rounds with smaller bets? It's a gamble still even if you are running a business and unless you have precognition or omniscience, you are still playing with fire and slow and steady has much less risk.

>> No.71730070

>>71729801
LLCs are not a slam dunk adatnage, they actually are worst off especially when you need to change the ownership structure to a public company for an IPO to raise capital. And good luck getting VCs or any sort of loan that isn't for small businesses when all the people with deep pockets want to invest in at the moment is AI in this current climate. Renewals and taxes can also be higher in certain jurisdictions.

anon none of those quarters amount to 10bil in total revenue (sum of both JP and EN)
You still haven't addressed the 10 bil target plainly stated in their latest Finance Report

Even if EN does its same 1bil performance, youre coping hard thinking JP will make 9bil difference. they have not done that EVER historically (not even 8bil)
