It seems you make yourself run into dead-ends consistently while monologuing. Try letting yourself dive deeper and chain topics together instead of saying "anyway" and waiting for the next thing that pops into your head.

You'd benefit from having a mental list of relevant topics to start rambling on so you can avoid bringing up stuff you don't really have anything to say about.

Be more aware about the atmosphere you're creating, you come across as crass and unapproachable when you speak because you're complaining about things half the time. If you're not willing to do this then make sure your energy is high and you put effort into reacting to what's happening in game to make it funnier. Bring your microphone closer to your face and increase your upload bitrate to start with.

Your talking skills are fine, it'll come more naturally as you stream more. The only thing is you'll sometimes forget you need to talk as though the audience doesn't know what you're thinking about and you drop an opinion without explaining it.

When you're absorbed in a game really lean into it and don't be afraid to react strongly, especially in games like ER.

im still workshopping it but this is what i got down so far
a white mage who got tricked and is now stuck in a tree. im able to keep myself alive but slowly i've been rotting away while my mind is deteriorating. it's all been seeping into the tree which eventually becomes rotten enough to where im able to break free but not entirely. as i wander the forest looking for a way back to civilization, i eventually come across a woodsman who then tries to fight/kill me from fear. with the first swing to the head the axe gets embedded and hasnt been able to be removed since.

You can control this, to a large degree. The relationship between your content and your chat goes both ways. If you zatsu more (and especially if you zatsu in a way that gives people "room" to chat, like talking about things that people know stuff / have opinions about and prompting them to respond), your chat will speed up. If you do something less interactive like gaming, programming, reading, etc. it'll naturally slow down and give you time to respond. I think it's possible to maintain the feeling that you want with any chat size, you have a lot of agency as the streamer. A 4view who's really good at this is GEEGA: her chat is fast but it retains the vibe of a much slower chat.
