Honestly the problem might be just for some reason men tend to want to be seen as themselves and not as an anime character. Axel needing to have his earrings on his model, Flayon going on about his thighs and chest, Bettel finding reasons to put facial hair on his model... I think StarsEN have great kayfabe. Especially since Armis came about. They're always maintaining the rival shtick and most interactions are colored by their lores. An example is the wall signing thing where Flayon brought out his Rtrus to sign the highest. Or Ruze with his voice tweets. Or even Bettel with him concatenating the word "elysium" before everything. It's lazy but it works. You dont really get this with other branches lol

But a bit more on the technical side. We are switching from PES 19 (current version on which the league is on) to PES 16, which has a different engine and physics model. The problem is that it uses a different model format and the current plugin for that is outdated and bad.
/aesco/ (aesthetics people that do models and stuff for teams) are working on a new one, and I don't know what it's going to be like working with that new plugin.
