As Coco, she did criticize management some for tamping down hard on some of her activities like Asacoco, because they were petrified she would get them into another yab (despite the whole Taiwan thing not being her fault in the first place). I think (but this is speaking from memory) that she also said that she could only use Holofan created memes for Reddit meme review because they felt she needed "permissions" to use common/normal memes, which also irked her.

Basically, a lot of the stuff she liked to do was slowly being cut off, which was a principal reason for her making the decision to leave. She was getting frustrated at not being able to do the things she liked to do and was an increasingly poor fit for Hololive.

The stuff about being banned from collabing with HoloJP is BS, she had several collabs with them after her return. She was banned from collabing with HoloEN, but to this day we don't know who was responsible for it; Cover corporate, Coco's personal manager, or Omega & friends, though most people seem to have settled on blaming Omega. Again, I'm speaking from memory, but I believe Kiara at one point said she wanted to collaborate with Coco but was disallowed.

Overall, the claims of her being forced to graduate are at best a very murky issue. Both Fubuki and Yagoo reportedly made serious attempts to convince her to stay and her co-workers were all clearly grieved at her departure. Compare her leaving to Rushia's.

Just to add. The banishment room theory is fairly probable, but it's hard to say how deep this actually went.

In terms of personality, behind her brash attitude as Coco/kson, she is actually a very empathetic and introverted person, who hates to be a bother to people. So I can imagine that she partly also isolated herself on her own accord.
It's really hard to say, because she's also fairly professional in what she says.

There was some remarks in an Resident Evil stream on twitch where she fairly directly said that , some people who knew exactly what she did and who's job was to be on her side, still chose to side with the false narrative. Which hints at some people in hololive management being against her. But it always feels like top management (Cover) was on her side. Which would explain why HoloCN was disbanded, rather than throwing Coco out.

Personally I also think that Hololive might have had a lot of Chinese staff, which could have influenced this. At least in the company I work for we have a good amount of Chinese expats in our Japanese office, because they are often good at Japanese and also decent enough in English (at least better than a lot of Japanese engineers), so people like these would be perfect candidates for positions in hololive EN + as people who worked with hololiveCN from headquarters.

But it's hard to say. She seems to still like Yagoo, the talents and the brand and is still buying hololive merch. So her problems aren't with the whole company but rather some people working there.

She did all the work on it - writing, editing, recording - it took hours, and then had to wake up at 4 or 5AM to air it. It was exhausting. Cover did indeed made her cut on her more edgy content like the drugs and stuff, but not because they where afraid of yab's, but simply because they grew enough for YouTube to pay attention to them, and started to get hit with demonetizations - Choco, Aki and Hachama all have secondary channels, specifically because they had their channels demonetized by YouTube. So Cover took measures, and Holo became more PG friendly in that period to avoid further demonetizations. As for the memes, she couldn't show those that had copyrighted material, due to obvious reasons. She was frustrated by the creative restrictions, but those would have solved in time, as Hololive ended up becoming to big for YouTube to demonetize them for petty reasons, and more edgy content returned.
There are many reason why Coco chose to leave - but I think the main one was money. Kson is very profit driven. And she was always frustrated about how much she losses. There is a YouTube cut, and a Cover cut, and then she needs to pay half in taxes in Japan, and also taxes in America, because in US a billionaire can pay no tax at all, but a US citizen working and living in another country still needs to pay taxes in US, because... freedom. Kson was even bitching about getting just a 50% cut of the merch sales - when that is likely one of the best revenue shares in the whole of Japanese entertainment industry. So yeah, generating 3.5 million in SC's, and getting maybe less than 800k after all the cuts and taxes, was definitely a deal breaker for her, and she felt she was better as indie.
