Honestly I think a big part of corpo people overlook is being part of a team or gen, it gives people the same brainworms as ensemble cast anime do where "oooh when will x meet y character" and rivalries and such end up being a draw in and of themselves. Even with collabs, it's probably not the same once you leave since you're effectively on your own.
