Lui never called holofans ATMs. She said the CPU was being nice and letting them win similar to how holofans let the girls win in Mario Kart or Fall Guys by waiting at the finish line. The timing of her saying this was unfortunate, because she said it right after Marine read someone in chat calling the CPU a "tile ATM" and said that it was letting the girls win.
Her, "oh, like a holofan" remark was for the "letting them win" part and not the ATM part. The worst part is that they were on the main channel and so many people who've never watched her were watching that stream. The truth is that Lui has always been extremely grateful to the people that send superchats or support her. She isn't the type of person to look down on others like that.
She gained so many antis over such a stupid misunderstanding. It really sucks seeing people repeat this so often.
